The dealership had my car almost 2 of the 5 months I had it. If Volvo ever gets the system to function properly and consistently, it will be fantastic. I am an early-adopter of new tech and love it in cars. When the system functions as it should, it is exceptional. It auto-braked inappropriately, which could have caused a crash. Sometimes I had to reboot multiple times plus restart the car. It would require multiple reboots, during which you lose all controls, so it is necessary to pull off the road. UPDATE: I pursued the Lemon Law because the Google/Android system was constantly malfunctioning to the point I didn’t feel safe driving the car. I do not recommend any Volvo that contains Google Assistant. Their Google Assistant system is enough to ruin what would otherwise be a wonderful car. Having a few buttons would solve that issue & be safer. Too many controls realistically must go through the touch screen because the voice control is unreliable. To adjust the temperature, you have to use the touch screen for it to actually adjust, and it only adjusts by 2 degrees, not single digits. Mine has been back to the dealer twice in the first 2 months of ownership and will be going again next week (11 weeks from purchase) - all for problems related to Google Assistant (an Android system). I'm certainly discussing this with Volvo. One could also argue it is unreasonable for a driver to have to reboot the system that controls the whole car frequently while driving. You have to keep rebooting the system, which may temporarily fix the problems, but they always return. Constant problems with the Google Assistant/infotainment system, which when it malfunctions, can shut off your AC/heat. I've had cars that were made overseas and didn't need new rotors til around 70K miles. I was informed that this is extremely common due to shipping from overseas. Now for the cons: the rotors had to be replaced before I even took the car home because braking was jittery. Having owned Acura, Infinit & BMW(2016 - newest of these) vehicles, all of their navigation and infotainment systems were far superior. When the Google map app works, it is decent. It offers Apple Car Play, which I like, although it is a wired connection. The … interior is lovely, if minimalistic. It is the most comfortable car I've ever driven on a roadtrip. The arrangement of the AC vents prevents you from having frozen hands as a driver and the vent in the rear door column provides extra vents to back seat passengers. Love the heated/ventilated seats & heated steering wheel for my painful hands. We are still waiting on the paperwork for the car and unfortunately trying to decide if we should take legal action against Enterprise Car Sales - Gastonia.First, the pros: Extremely comfortable & luxurious seating. It’s hard to love our very first car anymore after receiving the customer service we have after the fact. Once again, they promised me everything was handled and would arrive within the week. When I arrived back at Enterprise, the manager on duty did not want to hear or see the information from the DMV and assured me the DMV was wrong. I was told to go back to Enterprise and have them contact the DMV of Gastonia-Eastridge Mall. The DMV of NC told me directly that Enterprise was in breach of contract due to error in the paperwork from Enterprise. Multiple promises of a call right back and four different guarantees of a date everything would arrive, we did our own investigating only after we were pulled over by law enforcement to find out we have a dead tag. We were happy with the vehicle until we called in to check on the registration and title work. Transfer of vehicle from another location to your neighborhood Enterprise Car Sales may require payment of a non-refundable transfer fee to begin the.
